Large vintage advertising  milk pail. Great primitive peas for farmhouse collector. Very rare 3 gallon + jar this glass jar would screw onto a set of milkers and hold enough milk for one cow. Embossed on the front CLEAN-EASY along with BEN H. ANDERSON MFG. CO. MADISON WIS. USA.  The back side is embossed with measuring marks in gallons going up to 3 gal. More could fit in the jar so it's possible it is a 4 gallon jar. The bottom is marked with the numbers 5 8 and a letter I inside a diamond. I believe it's made by Illinois glass. The jar measures about 17" x 8 1/2" in diameter at the bottom with the top screw opening measuring 5" in diameter.  I would have to over pack it to make sure it arrives safe. Buyer would also have to pay for insurance. Please make sure to ask me any questions you might have before bidding and I'll answer them the best I can I will not be packing this up until the end of the auction. Thanks for looking.
