Here is my NEMA 10-30 extension cord. It allows you to reach out away from your fixed wall plug an additional 10ft. Use on clothes dryers, welders, plasma cutters, air compressor and small electric stoves. The cord is right around 10 feet long, it is a "10ga" cord and has a nice thick heavy duty jacket. This cord set is made up of a dual function 3 prong Leviton NEMA 10-30 plug and NEMA 10-30 surface mount receptacle. If you want I can swap the neutral prong and make the plug end only a 10-50p range plug, other wise it ships as a 10-30p to 10-30s assembly. Pictures are example pictures. The cord for this auction will be nearly identical to the one pictured in #2. The receptacle end will be identical to picture #1. The cord that this is going to be made from will be 8/3 cable for all day abuse. The male plug end will be a different brand than whats pictured, I think a cheaper cooper is pictured, this cord set will use a heavier more square bodied Leviton plug. The cord is only intended for dry locations. Always cut power to the circuit and verify (by trying to turn the machine on) that power is actually off before plugging in or unplugging any 240 volt connection. If you want to plug your welding machine into a clothes dryer outlet, because that's all you have and you flip your 30 amp clothes dryer breaker absolutely under no circumstances should you remove the 30 amp clothes dryer breaker and install a higher amp breaker. The circuit breaker is there to protect the wiring inside the walls. If your machine is flipping the breaker, that's because its doing its job and you need to turn the machine down. Use beyond NEC specifications for 10-30 circuits at your own risk. This item will be over tested before it ships. The test regiment will be to run 2 clothes dryers at the same time through there cycle on this cord. Use "buy it now", complete checkout and pay for your item before noon MST your purchase will go out on the same day. If not, it will go out the next day the post office is open. Shipping is free to the U.S.A. because I use flat rate shipping boxes. Shipping to Canada will cost $20 to $35 extra.
