This auction is for 3 rare vintage PRINTING EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLY CATALOGS from the American Printing Equipment and Supply Company in Long Island City, New York - 1968 - 1995. The first catalog is: “1968-69 PRINTING EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLY CATALOG” 265 PAGES + cover – 9” X 12” X APPROX 1/2 ”. It is in good condition with 2 names in ink on the cover & some references in ink on the back cover. All order cards are in. The bottom edge of this catalog has some printers binding glue inadvertently applied, this will not interfere with the use of this catalog. The 2nd catalog is "1971-1972 - PRINTING EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLY CATALOG" 320 PAGES + cover – 9” X 12” APPROX. 5/8”. It is in good condition with some markings on the back cover. The 3rd catalog is 1994-95 - PRINTING EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLY CATALOG" 144 pages + cover – 8-1/2” x 11” APPROX. 1/4 ”. It is in very good condition but has the mailing label on the back cover. These catalog would be useful for letterpress, photo- offset or general printing information. Many thousands of auxiliary machinery, spare parts, tools and supplies are illustrated  & specifications published. Everything needed to keep a print shop profitable or a “hobby” printer happy and satisfied with their work. These catalogs were so important that it was used by the foreman of the plant to keep the printing plant going. There are notations in several pages to order specific mfg. part. Please look at photos and email with any questions before bidding. These Printing Equipment and Supply Catalogs are a great source of information for every printing plant.
