THANKS FOR SUPPORTING AMERICA'S SMALL FAMILY FARMS....same location since 1847 Up for auction is 30+ Bobwhite Quail fertile hatching eggs, consisting of 10+ Butler, 10+ Mexican Speckled and 10+ Snowflake. We sell quite a few hatching eggs locally and have extra on occasion. They are fed a well balanced diet and flourish on seasonal native and planted species that we harvest for better nutrition; especially mineral and vitamins . We have checked their fertility and appears excellent. We have been hatching the month of May to fill chick orders. Licensed by the State of Texas #9184 to raise game birds and have also been inspected, tested and certified Pullorum-Typhoid free......... FLOCK NUMBER 201604 1503 29 *NOTE: All our birds are raised on wire for better sanitary and disease control. We love our birds and treat them with respect and care they deserve. Although several generations removed, our quality Snowflake colony does trace back to the Kenny Armstrong "Gunrunner" line (original Snowflakes)...we have vigorously bred and selected for hardiness, color and egg production. We hatch a very large number of birds each year. Fertility is excellent. We store our eggs in a climate controlled incubation room using egg turners before placing in incubator or shipping. Please be mindful that I am not responsible for your hatch rate when incubating eggs - I can only guarantee fertility of the eggs. Cold/Hot extremes in weather can affect your eggs during shipment. Hatching eggs can be a difficult process & there are many variables which can affect your hatch rates (keep eggs stored little end down, turn eggs 3x's daily if you don't have a turner in incubator, allow eggs to reach room temp. before putting in incubator & just be sure you have researched the topic on hatching eggs/raising chickens & do as your incubator tells you to do to get the best results! The Butlers are the largest variety of Bobwhite. They can reach 22 oz in size but mine average more like 17 oz. They are extremely strong flyers and i sell many to dog trainers for that purpose. They are quite docile and accept confinement and handling well. The Mexican Speckled Bobwhite has the reputation of also being a strong flyer and are more the size of our now now existent native Bobwhites, approximately 8 oz in size. I sell alot of eggs to customers in more arid areas of the country New Mexico, Arizona and alot to Nevada. Your feedback is very important to us and important to maintaining our Ebay seller status.
