 I have a surplus of different gauges of nichrome wire that i am selling.  But i realized just how expensive some of this wire is if you are buying a little at a time, so i am making it affordable for you. Shipping is more outside the USA Shipping is a flat fee.   Buy 25 feet of 41 gauge, 36 gauge or any other combination and your shipping is is the same. No limit! This order is for 300 feet of 48 gauge wire .  This wire is right off a Brand New spool and has never been used,  i will do same day shipping when the order is posted.  this nichrome wire is 48 gauge - Nichrome is a brand name for a nickel-chromium resistance wire, a non-magnetic alloy of nickel and chromium. A common alloy is 80% nickel and 20% chromium, but there are many others to accommodate various applications. It is silvery-Grey in color, is corrosion resistant, and has a high melting point of about 1400 *C. Due to its relatively high resistivity and resistance to oxidation at high temperatures, it is widely used in heating elements, such as in hair dryers, electric ovens/toasters, and a good model rocket igniter wire. Typically, Nichrome is wound in wire coils to a certain electrical resistance, and current passed through to produce heat. Item you are buying maybe Kanthal, or other brand name of wire. Wire may contain some iron. Bare wire should have resistance, melt point and working temperature similar to Nichrome wire. o If you would like a different Length/Gauge, i would be more than happy to put up a listing just for you! i also have 46 gauge, 42 gauge, and 36 gauge available.
