The 30W panel is fitted with its own "legs" should you want to just place it on the ground but due to the huge range of other possible installation configurations (roof/wall/fence post/etc.) no other mounting system is provided with the panel and a little DIY skill may be needed to fix a panel where desired. Product Description: The NEW Energytech XtraStop 880 adjustable output energiser is a versatile electric fence energizer for fence lengths of up to 30 km. The unit produces a powerful 10,000V output, a great deterrent for stallions, bulls and other difficult to retain stock. The XtraStop 880 has efficient low power consumption in relation to its high pulse intensity. The unit is designed to be run off a 12 V automotive style battery that can be conveniently contained within the body of the unit, protected from the elements. The energiser can be powered by a 12V automotive/deep cycle battery (not included) OR solar panel OR an external 12V power source up to 25W. For higher power settings a higher output solar panel is required to keep the battery optimally charged. Almost any standard solar panel(s) can be added to provide the recommended 25-30W input for full 30 km power operation. For solar panels over 25W we recommend the use of an external charge controller and the direct connection of this to the battery bypassing the internal charge controller of the unit (good for up to 25W sources). Our optional 30W solar panel comes with a charge controller already installed. See our other adverts. A 10W panel will support operation at low distance setting (7-10 km). With a 15-20W panel the energiser will support ongoing operation at medium setting (up to 20 km). OR with our optional 30W panel with charge controller the energiser will support ongoing operation at maximum setting (up to 30 km). See our other adverts. The energizer has front panel input connectors for easily attaching a solar panel or other 12V source (up to 25W). The energizer features internal charge controller circuitry to regulate the incoming voltage from a solar panel when charging the battery. It also features a variable power control knob and an operation indication light.
