www.reclaimedbarns.com 32x65 Hand Hewn Oak/Chestnut Barn 32x65 Hand Hewn Timber Frame Majority is oak , 15'3" to top plate. The main original frame is a 4 bent 47 x 32 with a 18 x 32 stand alone addition that blends in perfect. The addition makes it a 5 bent. The addition is a full 18 x 32 with a solid loft with 6 x 8 hand hewn oak joists, all set for a large bedroom above and kitchen below with gorgeous hand hewn oak beams in the ceiling.  Your post and beam dreams can come true easily with the many possibilities of this barn. It can be used as 2 separate timber frames very easily.  This barn timber frame is in excellent shape with beautiful timbers and craftmenship. The bottom of all posts seem to be in great shape which is something to always check when purchasing an old barn frame. I did not see any rot or damage throughout. However, a hand full of smaller original pieces have been cut or removed but nothing major or anything that would effect the structural integrity of the timber frame. Oak pole rafters appear to be in great shape. There is another small loft in the rear corner with hand hewn ceiling beams. Main posts are 9x9.
