This listing is for a collectible functional hip model by 3B. This listing includes the hip model itself including its stand and manual. ***Stock information *** The 3B Scientific A81/1 life-size human hip joint model is used for anatomical study, and has movable parts for effective demonstration of abductions, anteversion, retroversion, and internal and external rotation joint movements. The model consists of a thigh stump and hipbone depicted with ligaments for detailed examination, and has blue-colored cartilage for visual identification. The A81/1 has a natural cast for accurate representation, and is mounted on a base for display. The model measures 12.6 inches/32.0cm (H). (H is the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point.) Human anatomical models are typically used as educational aids in medical and scientific classrooms and office settings.
