3B Scientific F13 7 Part Eye Model, 3 Times Full-Size, 7.1" x 10.2" x 7.5" Item Description The 3B Scientific F13 human eye model is 3X life size for anatomical study of the optic nerve’s natural position in the bony orbit. The model dissembles into seven parts for effective demonstration, including both halves of sclera with cornea and eye muscle attachments, both halves of the choroid with iris and retina, the eye lens, and the vitreous humour. The F13 is mounted on a base for display. The model is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic, which is corrosion resistant, lightweight, and has high strength. PVC resists reactions with acids, gasoline, alcohol, and hydrocarbons. Anatomical models are typically used as educational aids in medical and scientific classrooms and office settings.
