Up for sale...3M(TM) Scotch-Weld(TM) Epoxy Adhesive 2216 GRAY Part B/A, Quart Kit. This is considered a "bulk" kit because the operator measures out & mixes the 2 parts together. "Kit" is both part B & A. Original metal cans. Unused portion re-capped for future use. With technical data sheet The workhorse of 3M's long list of adhesives, 2216 B/A is famous for it's flexibility, bonding of dis-similar substrates, medium work life (90 minutes), quality & performance. All characteristics set the industry.standards. For decades it is known as the "Quart kit" but the actual total fluid ounce is 53.3...21.33 oz can of "B" & 32 oz can of "A". The kit weight is proportioned to the mix ratio of 2:3 (2 parts "B" & 3 parts "A"). Consistency is thick liquid. Once cured, structural strength. Base and Accelerator are contrasting colors. Mix vigorously until turns GRAY. Price per kit. Individual quart components not available. Used in a wide variety of industries including general manufacturing, US government, military. aerospace, transportation etc. Room temperature cure @ 60F degrees or higher. Starts to "gel up" on the surface in about 90 minutes. Handling strength about 8-10 hours depending on temp. Can speed cure process up by using heat from 100F to 200F. Note: Less than 60F degrees will slow or stop curing. Individual results may vary. Use as directed. Not for Teflon (PTFE), silicone, oily or contaminated surfaces.
