The product has a green light indicator to show that it is functioning correctly, and the emitters have been tested to remove static charges. The emitter points are shielded to eliminate field-induced charging, and the technology is based on the law of physics of Conservation of Charge. The unit has minor scratches and scuffs, as seen in the provided pictures. For sale is a 3M 991 Overhead Air Ionizer with a two-speed fan and three fans for efficient static control. Performance tests have shown that the ionizer takes less than eight seconds to discharge and can maintain a balance of less than or equal to 20V.
