New replacement NiCad batteries today sell for $400+ on the street. Battery fully charged shows 5.3v where PAPR operation requires 4.5v. Battery retested for voltage prior to shipping. One of 30 spare batteries purchase from U.S. Dept of Agriculture training department. No expiration date on battery but a 1/2008 stamping is on battery.
