This wrap provides an alternative to a one or two hour rated fire resistance shaft enclosure. Ideal for use w/ commercial kitchen grease ducts.. Lightweight (6lbs per cu ft) for easier application. 2 Hour Fire Protection. Certified according to ASTM E 2336 (2-Layer Systems). Certified according to ISO 6944 (Single Layer Systems). Certified by UL and Intertek (OPL). Supports maximum temperatures of up to 2192°F (1200°C). Standard: 2 Layers for Grease Ducts - 1 Layer for Air Ducts. Approved for grease duct applications by ICC-ES, ESR-1255. Passes the rigors of internal grease duct fire tests UL 1978 and AC101. Zero clearance to combustibles at overlap or collar for compact low profile that saves space in tight areas.
