Appears to be in working order. It heats up (very hot) and the air flows through the hose when the trigger is pulled. The front metal part that holds the tip will spin when it is heated up. I'm thinking it is missing whatever part holds that in place. I don't have a glue tube to do any further testing. Thanks for looking.
