It has been through a fair amount and, as such, is well experienced. That said, it remains in solid shape, and never was grossly contaminated in any way. I have now upgraded to an electronic as I will be beginning cardiology fellowship next year and can use the extra cash to chip away at loans. I always found it more difficult to auscultate low frequency pitches with the "pediatric" diaphragm, so I converted it to the open bell which not only works better, but (in my opinion) looks more professional and less rookie ;). Unfortunately I am unable to locate the box. Everything has been thoroughly cleaned with Dispatch cleaner and is squeaky clean, ready to go for the next user.
