This item is brand new. Has never been used. Only personally home tested on a couple of family members to measure sound quality. Littmann cardiology STC. Soft touch chest piece was designed for better assessment of the carotid. Rubber material allows easy movement and handling while reducing artifact noise. The single-sided tunable diaphragm provides both bell and diaphragm frequency responses. The two-in-one tube design eliminates extraneous noises. Includes an anatomically correct headset, nonchill rim, snap tight soft-sealing ear tips. I purchased this on December 3, 2014. I am an RRT and was looking to get another stethoscope with excellent sound quality. I already own a Littman II Classic. The reviews for this model were almost 100% positive and rated excellent and I agree it is an excellent scope! However for me it is a bit on the heavy side- I like to keep it around my neck while I am working. It may be ideal for someone who likes to keep it in their pocket while they work. I am unable to return it due to the company who sold it through Amazon. This has a 6 year warranty through Littman and I am willing to give necessary info to honor the warranty to the buyer. It has excellent sound quality and two audible levels. Includes set of 2 each (4 pieces) additional detachable soft-sealing ear tips.
