The 3M-Matic ™ Corner Label Applicator CA2000 uses 1000-yard rolls of label tape, which significantly decreases changeover time compared to conventional labeling systems. 3M premium pressure-sensitive adhesive bonds immediately and securely to corrugated packaging, performing well in a wide range of temperatures typically found in most storage and shipping environments. The tape is thermally printed using Scotch ® Thermal Transfer Ribbons. The multi-layer resin ribbon construction optimizes image durability on the tape. Other ribbon constructions are available to meet a wide variety of requirements. Additional benefits include: • No liner for disposal, reducing cost and effort • No paper fiber dust to introduce premature wear of the thermal print head • Choice of 2", 3", and 4" wide tape 3M-Matic ™ Corner Label Applicator CA2000 for print-on-demand and accurate placement The 3M-Matic ™ Corner Label Applicator CA2000 system thermally prints variable information on Scotch ® Printable Label Tape, then applies the tape around the front and side panels of the carton with ±1/16" accuracy. Depending on carton size, the 3M-Matic ™ Corner Label Applicator CA2000 can run at speeds of up to 24 applications per minute.
