Brand new 3M welding helmet. It is a model 9000 with 9002X auto-darkening filter. This helmet is new in the original box and has never been used. It was only taken out of the box for the pictures. It is in perfect condition. Item usually ships within one day of payment receipt. Shipping is $10.00 for USPS Priority to anywhere within the continental US. The Speedglas Helmet with large variable auto-darkening filter (ADF) is intended for use by welders using a variety of arc welding processes and amperages. Ideal for MIG, TIG and stick welding. SideWindows are two, shade 5 filters on the side of the helmet that greatly improve the field of vision, and allow welders to see potentially hazardous peripheral objects. 9002X ADF has user-selectable dark shades of 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. It utilizes clear, sharp optics and consistent shading across its expansive viewing area, which measures 4.09 x 2.13” (104 x 54mm). A solar panel on front of the filter cassette helps to power the unit, extending battery life to approximately 3000 hours. ADF detectors have increased sensitivity to provide reliable switching for a wide range of welding methods (even extremely stable arcs like those from TIG inverters at low amp settings). A delay function moderates how quickly the filter changes from dark-to-light. Membrane-covered control buttons allow for easy settings changes even while the user is wearing gloves. Helmet features patented aerodynamic exhaust vents to help reduce heat and moisture buildup, and has an adjustable ratchet headband for a secure fit. Helmet, headband and ADF included. Important: 3M products must be used in accordance with OSHA regulations, and the user instructions, warnings, and limitations accompanying each product.
