PAYMASTER MODEL 875 CHECK REGISTER RIBBON WRITER & SIGNER MADE IN CHICAGO, USA Background This item was donated to our charity thrift store operated by Catholic Charities of northeast KANSAS to generate revenue to help our neighbors in need. All proceeds are used for that purpose. None of the eBay volunteers involved with this sale is compensated. Item Description This is a Paymaster check register writer and signer. It was made in Chicago, Illinois, USA in the early 60's. It is a marvel of the industrial revolution with it's "sophisticated" method for check fraud and security. It is a pale yellow. Everything seems to work properly but cannot vouch for the signer part since we don't have the signature plate. Item Measurements The Paymaster signer is 9 inches tall at the handle, 11 inches long and 7 1/2 inches wide. It is a hefty 16 pounds. Item Condition This Paymaster check register signer is in very good used condition. It is clean and in operating order with only a few chips and wear spot on the finish.
