It was build using brand new laser diodes and high performance optics. Diodes used in the build: 1W 520nm Nichia diode 1,6W 445nm Osram diode 700mW 638nm Oclario diode The output optical power is 3000mW in 20 degrees celsius. The dimensions of the module 90mm x 80mm and help to apply it for almost any projector. Optical beam correction helped to achieve 2mrad beam. Using 1W 520nm Nichia diode assures long lifetime of the module and better power stability. The driver is capable of powering TEC/Peltier module which is not attached to the set. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.Recommendations and requirements Modul should be powered by 7V to 12V input voltage. Total current consumption without TEC cooling is 5A. There is a possiblity to use TEC cooling. TEC driver is included. Analog modulation means that by using 2,5 V on ANG input you get around 50% output power, analogically by using 4 V you get around 80% output power, etc. You should be very careful not to cause short circuit between the + (VCC) of the power supply and - (GND) of the analog input, as a thin GND analog path can be irreparably damaged.Protection The circuit responsible for powering a laser diode is protected against reversed polarity. High current Schottky diode of an extremely low forward voltage secures the laser diode against connecting reversed voltage with the aim of protecting frequently the most expensive part of the entire device - a laser diode. In turn, the low forward voltage does not cause excessive heat loss during normal operation. The analog input is protected by a 5V1 Zener diode on occasion there appears the voltage higher than 5V. Despite everything, this input should not be used with higher voltages. A microcontroller ensures the proper operation of the entire system. When the temperature reaches above 50 degrees Celsius, it turns off the laser diode supply circuit and does not allow for its further load, it also goes into failure state (blinking LED) until the restart. The microcontroller will operate in the same way in case of connection loss with a thermistor measuring the temperature. The driver is fitted with a two-second softstart designed to protect the laser diode against switch-on effects. Shipping Items are shipped withing three working days.
