This switch is a bit different than usual.   There are 4 wafers/decks and each wafer has 4 poles.   Stops are  set to allow the switch to go to either of two positions.    These positions (4 wafer/4 poles per wafer-16 separate circuits) each pass through a center position when switched.   Each position has been wired together by IBM so continuity is always there for both positions until the switch is thrown past center at which time there is momentary continuity at the center position.        Simple explanation:   16 pole/double throw-center off/momentary.     Note: Center position may be held for as long as wanted before going on to the stop.    Wire is easily altered for other connection.        Questions quickly answered.
