This Beautiful Tool is made from super heavy duty steel to last a Lifetime of Kitchen Use. Slightly Angled Stainless Steel Blade (photo 7) with Beautiful Rosewood Handle (see photo 3). One-Piece Blade from Tip to Tip is secured with 3 Brass Compression Rivets. Blade has Round Corners Beautiful Rosewood Handle Stainless Steel Blade. Blade is Angled for Ease of Use. This Blade is Solid & H.D. without Any Flex at all Notice the metal thickness in photo 4! It is forged from one piece of metal. Unlike cheaper, flimsy versions of this scraper, because of it's thickness, this blade will not bend, fold, or crease. Also, because it is one-piece, there are no joints in the blade to break. When you buy the cheap ones, you end up throwing them away because they bend, crease and/or break. In the end, the cheap ones cost you more money because you have to replace them so often. Made in the USA This scraper is brand new and unused and it is stamped "factory seconds and I got it right at the factory. It is a "seconds" because (for lack of better words), there is a minor "Grind Mark" on the blade. It is visible in photos 7 & 8, on the top left of the blade. Its not too bad. Also, because it was sitting in a box with several other scrapers without a protective covering, it has some areas of scratches that can be seen in the photos. Its Brand New...but Scratched a bit. Ok, it also is discolored on the blade because when the person at the factory etched "factory seconds" they left too much fluid on the blade. When they hit the metal with some electricity (how they etch metal) the fluid got "etched onto the blade. You can see it in the 9th photo. Anyways, its etched on the blade for life! These cosmetic flaws will in NO WAY affect the quality, functionality or integrity of the tool. Plus, let's face it...you're going to be scraping stuff off metal pans, griddles, and grills, a few blemishes won't make any difference in the world!
