I just put together a Detroit 353 power  unit with a 4 " Marlow pump . I disassembled the pump and replaced the bearings . the seal is obsolete and hard to replace . I did replace the seal but it does leak slightly but not bad when moving that much water. the running gear needs paint .it is a old fertilizer spreader running gear. if you need to fill a semi or dewater a job site this unit will move a lot of water. I tried to get a gpm reading but it blew my 4 " pipe apart .check out pictures. maybe 400 gpm at full throttle.  this unit has a 12 volt vacuum priming system off a fire truck witch works awesome . I have a 6 inch suction hose  and can prime the unit in seconds depending on suction distance . unit works great . check out pictures. come and see it work
this is a newly put together pump and motor . Marlow pump with gm Detroit 353 Detroit engine believed to be rebuilt power unit witch runs great the. pump has ben disassembled and basically rebuilt. The seal does leak slightly under pressure but when moving that much water its acceptable .the pump is old and hard to get the proper seal the running gear does need paint. it is a old fertilizer trailer. I am not Shure of the gpm . I will do more testing . pumps a lot of water
