Here is my NEMA 14-50 and full KVA plug to  6-50R welding plug adaptor. It allows you to plug a welding machine or plasma cutter with a 6-50 plug into the 4 prong outlet. The cord is about 4 feet long, brand new and uses 8 gauge lines and a 10 gauge ground. This is a real full KVA to welder adaptor. Mine is thicker, a lot longer, a lot cheaper than the other guys and I offer surge protection on top of all that. This is a medium duty cord, you can run more than one machine off it. The 8 gauge cord can support a 40 amp load continuously and can run 50 amp loads at a 60% duty cycle (that means 6 minutes on, 4 minutes off). Most welding machines that draw 50 amps have a 20% to 50% duty cycle when running at full power. I don't recommend the 8 gauge power cable for machines that draw 60 amps or more. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Use "buy it now", complete checkout and pay for your item before noon MST your purchase will go out on the same day. If not, it will go out the next day the post office is open.. Surge protection: for an additional $7: Transformer based welding machines are very rugged and not much kills them, power surges really don't effect them. They could be struck by lightning and will likely still work fine, but turning on the welding machine and starting and breaking electrical arc creates power surges that effect everything else plugged into your service drop. Since the welding machine runs line to line power it is effectively on the same circuit as everything in your house. Also if you have a more expensive solid state inverter type welding machine or plasma cutter, they don't create power surges as bad but they are susceptible to being damaged by a power surge. My line of welding surge protector cords can help protect the expensive control boards and solid state power switching devices found in more advanced machines or protect other devices in your home. I installed this exact same power surge protection set up in side of all my machines, so I know it works. Now I offer a cord version of it. I can add the $7 for the surge protector in the invoice, just request an invoice after purchase and message me that you want the surge protection added. Always cut power and verify (by trying to turn the machine on) when plugging in or unplugging 220 volt cords. Need a custom adaptor? Or international shipping? Message me for a quote. Shipping to Canada will cost $40 and the cord has to be shortened about 6 inches so the cord set can stay under the 4lb weight limit for cheaper shipping. (6 foot cords only) Over night shipping to the lower 48 will be an additional $40.
