4 Quart/Liter sized spout pouches with reusable caps (Four pouches) These were designed and printed in support of my online oil change business and are still used that way today.  But it's become apparent that they have many uses and the current branding may actually have advantages when concealing the contents.  These are easily marked on with a sharpie style marker so you can keep track of what you put inside.  The spout is a full 1" wide and the bags are fully sealed for ease of use.  Just pour in what you want to store and screw on the cap.  They are incredibly strong.  I've placed a scale between an inflated bag and the floor and then applied over 200 pounds of pressure on the scale without the bag failing. Many survival uses: Unlike a canteen, these weigh less than 1 ounce when empty and collapse to almost nothing.  Water purification systems are great when you're near a source of water, but if you need to take that water with you, for yourself or others, these would do a great job.  Each holds 4 cups (1 Quart) easily and if necessary, you can get approximately one additional cup in.  They could also be used for grains, rice, flour, sugar, etc.  They are free standing when full.  The caps include an integrated ratcheting ring, like you find on water bottles and milk jugs.  They provide a tamper evident seal on their first use and can be used over and over without the ratchet ring after that. Once you fill the bag, you can purge the extra air in the bag by squeezing slightly as you tighten the cap.  The translucent spout allows you to see when the contents reach the top.  Purging the air should increase the shelf-life of whatever you put inside.  They also block light which could also be a factor in shelf-life. A number of these in your bug out bag would take very little space and weigh next to nothing, but they would give you the ability to collect significant liquid resources to take with you in a flexible, easy to pack, reusable container.
