This is a high-quality metallurgical microscope with reflected (EPI) illumination system, featuring eight magnification settings ranging from 40X-1600X. It also comes with a 30 degree inclined 360 degree rotatable sliding trinocular head, fully coated optical system with high resolution and two pairs of widefield eyepieces. This microscope is perfect for detail examination and micro-analysis of surface structures of metallic materials, quality control in industrial and research applications including silicon wafer inspection and foundries, and identification of minerals and crystals. This microscope has a large graduated mechanical stage with stain-resistant finish and low position coaxial X-Y stage traveling controls. It also has a solid metal frame construction with stain-resistant enamel finish and comes brand new in the original box with a retail value of $3000. The advanced EPI-illumination design offers excellent halogen illumination and optimal image clarity, with independent filter holders, aperture/field diaphragms and diaphragm alignment controls. It also includes yellow, blue, green and frosted filters. The coaxial coarse and fine focusing system, dual side focusing controls, focusing tension control mechanism, and locking mechanism for controlling coarse focusing range protect objectives and specimens. We offer free shipping to the contiguous USA (the lower 48 states) and a five-year factory warranty. Non-defective items requested within 14 days of receipt are subject to a refund less the original shipping and handling costs. However, defective items will not be subject to this deduction.
