Used Grip-A-Strip poster/map hangers, in good condition.  Three units included, each 48" long. When new, these come with plastic mounts, or double sided tape, but this auction doesn't include them - those methods don't work very well anyway in my experience.  These units have simple holes drilled through them, for use with anchor bolts.  (Bolts not included, but they're standard hardware.) It's obvious how to put a poster INTO the unit - you just slide the edge up and it locks in place.  But getting the poster OUT again is a puzzle that many people fail to solve, which makes them adopt violent means (like tugging on it until the unit comes off the wall, or the poster rips.)   So here's the secret: the unit has several dozen little nylon rollers which settle to the bottom of the v-shaped track.  (You can see them in the third photo.)  When you push a poster into the unit, you're pushing the rollers up for an instant, before the settle back to the bottom and lock it into place.  Pulling down on the poster just causes the rollers to be pulled down into the tighter bottom of the V, which resists your effort.  (And is why the posters don't fall out naturally, when a draft of air catches them.) To release the poster, you pick up the bottom of the poster and lift it toward the ceiling.  The little rollers are pushed upward and nothing is holding the poster in place any more.  It's simple, easy, instantaneous.  And until then, the grip-a-strip holds even very heavy maps in place without a problem - even ten or twenty pounds. If you think this explanation is insultingly obvious, try asking a co-worker to remove a poster from the unit without giving them a hint.  I promise you'll be entertained, and they will become crazy with frustration. These units were in light service for ten years.  They have a few scratches, and maybe a droplet or two of paint.  But they look fine on the wall and they're perfectly serviceable - if you know the secret of using them.  Solid aluminum - not plastic.
