You will have babies we have NEVER seen before. Have fun!! Oh Goodness LOOK at what we created!! A NEW variety (for us) Silkie & Show-Girl Sizzles.. they look like a Chrysanthemum flower! So that`s what we are calling our new little line of creations... Chrysanthemums (But really they are just a DIFFERENT fancy silkie :) Below are 2 young, 3 month old baby hens from our new line. The white one is a Silkie Sizzle and the red one is a Show-Girl Sizzle. Ok I am not saying that we are the only people in the world that own and breed this exact type of chicken. But I am saying that we worked on it for over 14 generations and this is what we are hatching now from our own stock. Believe me we did not start out with this 10 + years ago. So here`s your chance to hatch something new. If you like one of a kinds we are the place for you! So many people have asked us how we developed this type of look. I`ll tell you.... We used our VERY Best Silkies and bred them to our VERY BEST Sizzle/Frizzle. The results for us were amazing.... eventually. Big ''Pom-Pom'' type heads and soft sizzle/frizzle feathered bodies. ** **Please keep in mind we have basically been mixing the feather genes for many generations, and this is a constant work in progress. We have no idea what other styles or types of feather combinations may occur. So all we can do is show you what we have hatched. They remind me of a Chrysanthemum flower PomPom... We actually named the little white girl below ''Pom Pom'' Below are 2 pictures of the SAME BIRD, Pom Pom at 5 months of age. ''Pom Pom'' and her twin sister ''SISSY'' are now a year old and they are now laying eggs too. None of our birds are in seperate groups. All girls eggs are for sale in every auction. Below is Jelly-bean at 3 months old and other young babies. The picture above is a young rooster, not quite 4 months old. He has great potential. Love his color! His down is white and its a nice contrast against his deep rust color. Below is Libby, she appears to be a young hen. She`s obviously an ivory Show-Girl, shes not quite 4 months old and is still growing her feathers in. She has really nice BLACK skin. Under Libby`s picture you will see some other young kids under 3 and 4 months old. ''Basil'' Basil is one of our new young roosters. For the longest time we thought he was a she, as HE grew up. He has what we call a ''HEN HEAD'' Most roosters don`t have a head with so much fluff that you can`t see their eyes but Basil does. No matter how you looked at him you couldn`t see his eyes. So we gave him a hair cut after his pictures were taken. Its easier for him to see the girls now :) Check out his pictures below. You will see he has a beautiful dark burgundy berry, and fantastic violet blue ear lobes. (Both things are a must in a show quality rooster) Keep in mind he`s only 5 months old. He`s already breeding to the girls. :) Below is Bella a new young Show girl chick. Shes related to this old girl below. This auction is for fresh fertile eggs for YOU to hatch! Her name is Drama Our Sizzles are crazy and wild looking for sure. These are not FLAT feathered birds. They are curly and very soft. Drama is a 3 color paint and is just over 2 months old. We left the picture with the hand in so you can see she really is a very young bird, and she already has a SUPER HEAD. You may hatch out something like this. UPDATE.... Drama is now a Mama... And her eggs are part of my auctions. Ok, now this picture below is of our first Sizzle rooster. He`s about 6 months old in this picture. (he`s much older now :) I took a fast picture of him in our yard. Its not a great shot but you will get an idea of what he looks like as far as feather fluff and color. He`s amazing in real life, and he is a father to many of the eggs we are selling now. He`s a fantastic producer. Below is a nice young rooster. This next picture BELOW is a ''ONE OF A KIND'' bird for us. Shes our FIRST Ivory Sizzle Show Girl. Her name is Lacy Bubbles. Shes actually my house bird, shes only 10 weeks old in this picture. Now for some of the Silkie boys Our Roosters have so much fluff on their heads, most times you can't even see their eyes. Sometimes they acutally look like hens with those big luffy heads. Many times we trim around the eyes so they can see better. It's hard to get an idea of the size of the bird, just seeing a shot of them in the yard. So I grabbed my Orange bird, Sorbet (that's him in the picture below) and I took a picture of him with a ruler. Now for the Silkie Show Girls To me they look like a tiny minature Ostrich :) FYI Some Show Girls have beards, side burns and bowties, some are very extreme and clean shaven. We breed both styles in all colors. I put in pictures of both styles. I think the Show Girl Silkies are my favorite. I love the extreme look. Below 8 Days old Silkie Partridge Show Girl chick. About our *Powder Puff Collection* Well over a 12 years ago we started buying ONLY NPIP fertile eggs from all over the United States. We bought only the BEST of the BEST. We spent so much money on eggs. Our goal was to breed the most extreme and outstanding Silkies possible. Every egg we purchased came from Award winning parents, Top Show bloodlines and NPIP tested. We kept only the very best and most extreme birds for our breeding flock. The rest were sold off as pets. Now we offer to you the results of our hard work and passion. Why buy inferior stock and try to eventually breed up to a quality you desire? Why not just start out with it? You won't be sorry :) Feedback As far as feedback goes, please leave feedback on the condition of the eggs and NOT on your hatch rate. We package very carefully and fertility is very high here. However we can not guarantee how the postoffice will handle your box. Therefore we can't guarantee how your eggs will hatch. (Also every one has their own way of hatching) For example, I use a digital incubator to hatch my eggs and sometimes a Broody Hen. We promise, you will be getting the freshest fertile eggs we have, and all are handled with care.
