16" Airway Buffing Wheels, 16 ply, 1 1/4" Arbor Condition : New / Old Stock 5, New old stock, 16" Airway Buffing Wheels, 16 ply, 1 1/4" Arbor, 7" Plate 817-201-9908 Phone or Text is the quickest way to get a hold of me now. These buffs are treated white cotton, usually used for cut down work not finishing or coloring. I use to run these on my industrial buffer, a 2hp Baldor double end buffer model 1250 with 1-1/4 shafts, mine was a 1200 rpm, Baldor specs say max 14 inch diameter wheels on all their 2hp and up double end buffers, but I never had any problem running 16's, however note I was running these on a 1200 rpm buffer, don't think you'd want to go over 1800 rpm with these for sure. Baldor also makes a 5hp double end buffer, model 1457 that's a powerhouse machine, it's dual rpm, 1000 or 1200, which is ideal for big diameter wheels and the slower rpm needed for plastic polishing. Anyway I don't do any polishing anymore so time to clean house, these are a good wheel and good deal if you can use them. Check my other items too.
