Dow Corning 111 Valve lubricant grease . Can be used in a variety of functions and situations such as aircraft and other types of vacuum and pressure systems, scuba diving equipment, as a sealant for applications in harsh waterborne environment, as a lubricant for plastic and rubber, as dampener for dash pots in electronic equipment and as a lubricant for water softening equipment. The product has grease like form and is made up of amorphous silica and polydimethyl silicone fluids. The product has many important features associated with it. DC 111 lubricant and sealant is operational between temperature variations of -57°C to 204°C; it demonstrates great resistance against organic and inorganic compounds such edible oils, alkaline, water based compounds, etc. It is also highly resistant against oxidation, giving it better performance for sealing purpose in critical industries. In various tested environments, the product showed excellent electrical insulation, rubber lubrication and sealing properties.
