Thank you for understanding. For Sale: 5 lb. capacity (2.2 kilo) Indoor 110VAC Electric Coffee Roaster. Some businesses use this roaster for coffee roasting, however it is designed for high consumer use. CONSTRUCTION DETAILS Roasting drum is a 20 gauge Grade 304 Stainless Steel cylinder (with 5/32" perforations) and has 20 gauge Grade 304 stainless steel end caps. Interior of drum has 4 aluminum vanes that each extend the length of drum. Drum is riveted construction. Roaster has a rear heating element (1650 watts), and a bottom heating element (800 watts), each on its own electric circuit and each circuit with its own power cord. Unlike our other 5 lb. electric roaster (PID version), this model DOES NOT have electronic temperature control. Roaster uses 110 volts AC and draws approximately 20 amps with both roaster circuits plugged in and operating. Interior of roaster is lit during operation. Roaster has a built in exhaust ventilation system that draws roasting smoke out of roaster which you then need to pipe to the outdoors. I provide a 4' length of collapsible aluminum tubing that you can stick out a window; however you may wish to utilize a more permanent exhaust pipe solution if you roast often. This roaster is designed for indoor use, however if you intend to do roasts darker than City+ (medium roast), to accomodate the much denser roasting smoke typical of dark roasts you may wish to add on a supplemental exhaust system or roast outdoors with it. The roaster is based upon a professionally modified for coffee roasting RONCO 6000 Pro rotisserie. Complete operating and roasting instructions included. ROASTING PROCEDURE To use roaster you remove drum from dual rod/gear plate assembly, swing open drum cap and fill drum with beans. Close drum cap, and attach dual rod/gear plate assembly and insert into roaster. Close front heat proof glass see-thru roaster door and turn both heating elements on and turn drum rotation motor on (drum rotates at approx 9 RPM). Turn exhaust fan on when you notice roasting smoke inside of roaster. Roast to desired roast, remove drum from roaster, remove drum from dual rod/gear plate assembly, swing open drum cap and dump beans into your cooling pan or Bean Cooler/Dechaffer which is available in our eBay store for purchase. Each heating element has its own switch so you may turn on or off either one at any time during roast as you desire. Typical roasting times are 25 to 30 minutes for a full 5 lb. load to City+ roast. Less beans being roasted will decrease the amount of time needed to achieve desired roast. You may preheat roaster to get a 5% to 10% reduction in roasting time. EXCLUSIVE LIFETIME WARRANTY: If for some reason you have an issue with this 5 lb. electric roaster you purchased here on eBay and have been using it for its intended purpose and as directed, all you do is email me at and provide me your name and when you (original owner only) purchased the roaster from me. Fully explain the issue. Maybe I will find that the issue is best resolved by a quick & easy fix done over the phone; or maybe best resolved by me personally examining the roaster and determining what needs to be done from there. If the roaster does need to be looked at by me all you do is ship me the roaster (at your expense) and I will at my cost either repair it or replace it, at my discretion, and then I ship it back to you (at my expense). Roaster comes in black or white, my choice no exceptions. Roaster switch housing layout may differ slightly from pictures as I am always making improvements to design. Never leave your roaster unattended while roasting. Heat proof gloves should be worn when handling drum or hot roaster. Extension cords should not be used with roaster (or any electric roaster for that matter) as they typically lower voltage.
