You are bidding on 5 brand new pieces of Pure Tungsten. This tungsten is 1/16" diameter and 7” long. It has a green tip and meets ANSI/AWS spec A5.12 EWP. Certification is available on request. This is first quality tungsten and is generally used with transformer based square wave or sine wave TIG welding machines in the AC mode for welding aluminum or magnesium. HTP’s part number is TP-7116. This tungsten is suitable for use in all tig welders. A few examples are the Miller Econotig, Syncrowave 180, 200 and 250, Hobart Tigmate and Lincoln Precision Tig 175, 185, 255 and 275 welders. If you have an Inverter based AC/DC welder, we do not recommend using pure tungsten for welding aluminum.
