The band cuts off the blood supply to the tail, causing the tail to falloff in 7 to 10 days. Elastrator is also used to castrate animals. The rubber ring is applied around the neck of scrotum. Testicles drop off in 10 days or so. Please only do so with the advice of a professional. Elastrator work as a band setting tools, to put rubber to the desired location.
