This is a used item, and is an intercom once used in a grade school, before they upgraded the system. It powers up  with no problems and with great sound, but the red light indicators for each room don't light up, I've researched this problem and is common for these models, so if you can deal without the light up effect from those little red lights, then this is the bargain for you. The wood frame is in excellent condition with no damage to any of the wood casing. The wooden piece on back was purchased without any screws, so is taped on, and other than that the front cover has only aged wear on the control panel paint, and still has old labels for classrooms which are easily removable and has a slider for you to easily insert your own labels.
