Brand New (QTY 500) 2 Foot Long Aluminum Radiant Heat Plates for 1/2" PEX Free and Fast Shipping!!!   Each 2' long aluminum plate has an omega ? shaped channel to closely grasp the radiant PEX tube allowing for maximized thermal diffusion and easy installation.   The omega channel is designed for 1/2" nominal I.D. tubing (5/8" O.D.) and can be used with most any brand of PEX, PEX-AL-PEX or EVOH coated 'Oxygen Barrier' PEX.  2 foot long plates are the most ideal length for ease of handling during installation.   Radiant heat transfer plates are typically used for under floor (between joist) or above subfloor (sleeper) installation, but can also be used in radiant wall and ceiling installations.  Plates can easily be cut using tin snips and channel mouths widened using pliers, while being extra careful to remove burrs or sharp edges that could otherwise damage the tube.  Product Dimensions: 24" Length x 5" Width x 0.625" Height x 0.016" Thick  Our plates come with a protective blue covering.  This will ensure that the plates arrive in the best possible condition.  Please remove the covering before installation.
