Alphanumeric information may be displayed on an oscilloscope screen to provide waveform scaling information, measurement results, or other information. The readout information can only be relayed to scopes designed for readout functions. The readout functions are limited to the functions available by the scope. A readout probe only sends the probe type data. The scope formats it's information based upon the probe type. If this probe is used with a non-readout scope, it will function as a generic 500 MHz probe. Great for Tektronix TDS (500,600,700,3000 series), HP and most other oscilloscopes with BNC probe ports. For analysis of circuits up to a maximum bandwidth of 500MHz. The P6139R is a readout, adjustable, oscilloscope probe rated with the following specs; Readout probe transfers 10X type data to scopes capable of using readout probes. This formats the scope to the correct function range. BNC Connector (Fits most oscilloscopes). DC to 500 MHz. 1.5 Meter cable length (about 49 inches). X10, 10:1, 11pF , .7ns Rise time, 10M Ohm. Compensation 10-35 pF, adjustable to match your scope.    See tuning details on data sheet. 600 VDC working voltage including peak AC, derating with frequency. Mini tip allows connecting the probe tip directly to a BNC port. Probe comes with an accessory kit, in a clear storage pouch.
