Newly manufactured by Clamping Solutions, Inc., this 5000 psi radial piston pump power unit is primarily intended for the hydraulic workholding market. It's market leading features represents the latest in compact hydraulics technology and durability. Our products can replace other hydraulic workholding pump brands such as: Enerpac, Vektek, Hytec, Hawe, Carr Lane, Pascal and Kosmek. These pumps offer a HUGE improvement over air-oil type systems and intensifiers. Typical component lifetime is well in excess of 1 million on-off cycles! Here are the basic specifications: Power Unit: 5000 psi and 60 cubic inches per minute radial piston pump with 1 HP, 110 VAC (11.6 FLA) Oil Immersed Motor in 1 gallon capacity tank. Tank includes high temperature and low oil level switch. Less than 65 dB(a) sound level at 5000 psi. Operates both single-acting (SA) and double-acting (DA) workholding circuits for one pallet machines (contact us for our two pallet integrated designs). This includes "pallet valve" circuits as well as "on-demand" circuits. The attached manifold includes a high-pressure 20 micron absolute filter with electric filter-full indicator, a pressure relief valve, a poppet loading-unloading valve, a 4-way 3-position directional valve, a pilot operated check for the clamping port and a pressure sensing valve that allows the electronic pressure switch to display the clamp and unclamp pressures. Included is a fully wired panel to UL508A standards with motor starter, 24 VDC power supply, fuses and a control pendant with "Clamp," "Unclamp," a "Jog/Run" key-lock selector switch and "E-Stop" buttons. The power unit operates as follows: pushing the "Clamp" button turns the pump on and energizes the poppet valve to allow the pump to build pressure. The pump provides oil flow to the clamping circuit and turns off once the pressure switch setting is met. If the pump is in "pallet valve" mode, the line de-pressurizes and you can remove your quick disconnect. If in the "on-demand" mode, the electronics continuously monitors system pressure and turns the pump on again should the pressure fall below the pressure switch set-point hysteresis. All of these features make this the most intelligent and flexible power unit available to the workholding market.
