Newly manufactured by Clamping Solutions, Inc, this 5000 psi radial piston pump power unit is primarily intended for the hydraulic workholding market. It's market leading features represent the latest in compact hydraulics technology. Our products can replace other hydraulic workholding pumps such as: Enerpac, Vektek, Hytec, Hawe, Carr Lane, Pascal and Kosmek. These pumps offer a HUGE improvement in durability and reliability over air-oil type systems and intensifiers. Typical component lifetime is well in excess of 1 million on-off cycles! Here are the basic specifications: Power Unit: 5000 psi 60 cubic inches per minute radial piston pump with 1 HP, 120 VAC (11.6 FLA) Oil Immersed Motor in 1 gallon capacity tank. Tank includes high temperature switch and sight glass with thermometer. Less than 65 dB(a) sound level at 5000 psi. Operates single-acting "Pallet Valve" or "Dump Pump" circuits. The attached manifold includes a check valve, pressure relief valve, a poppet directional valve and a programmable electronic pressure switch with digital display. Included is a fully wired panel with motor starter, 24 VDC power supply (1.75 A), fuses and a control pendant with "Clamp" and "E-Stop" buttons. The power unit operates as follows: pushing the "Clamp" button turns the pump on and energizes the poppet valve to allow the pump to build pressure. The pump provides oil until the pressure switch setting is met. The power unit then turns off, venting the line to allow you to remove your quick disconnect hose from your hydraulic fixture to start a machining cycle. One of the unique features of this system is the programmable digital pressure switch. You have the flexibility, for example, to easily change the set point of the switch as you change over to different jobs. You also have the ability to set a timer to keep the pump on for X amount of time once the pressure switch setting is met. This is helpful for fully charging, for example, accumulator circuits.
