There are 2 major types of generators in market now, one is modified generator, this type is cheap but output voltage is not stable. This is 90% demand in market now. 2. pure sine wave AC output generator, this is new idea for the last 3years. This type generator can offer very good power wave form & stable, but price is 2 times high. Design point of generator : Inside generator output is AC 420V, this machine will transfer to around DC 380V, then DC TO AC to 220V or 110V through HF technology, 80% efficiency only. during the voltage transfer, each step will lose power for 15% at least, for example: 1000W generator’s power, first step to DC 380V, will lower to 850W, next step to AC voltage, power will lose again to 680W(850W x 80%) The above condition can be acceptable, due to this machine offer good wave form & stable voltage. But we can improve it, 1. when use 5000w VA (3000W) output, may offer 5000w RPM(example), but when you use 2500W, maybe still same rpm, it means sometimes the output demand different, like 20% different, the generator only make 10% difference, can not exactly match the real power/watt demand.
