There are 2 major types of generators in market now, one is modified generator, this type is cheap but output voltage is not stable. This is 90% demand in market now. 2. pure sine wave AC output generator, this is new idea for the last 3years. This type generator can offer very good power wave form & stable, but price is 2 times high. Design point of generator & power inverter: GENERATOR Inside generator output is AC 420V, this machine will transfer to around DC 380V, then DC TO AC to 220V or 110V through HF technology, 80% efficiency only. during the voltage transfer, each step will lose power for 15% at least, for example: 1000W generator’s power, first step to DC 380V, will lower to 850W, next step to AC voltage, power will lose again to 680W(850W x 80%) The above condition can be acceptable, due to this machine offer good wave form & stable voltage. Backup power for green power: In the day time, if you have solar panel or wind turbine, you can use the green power first.
