It is important to handle these magnets with care as they can be fragile and cause harm if chipped or broken. This product is a set of 50pcs of the strongest rare earth magnets available, measuring 10mmx2mm in size and weighing 1.85 oz (52 g). The material used to make these magnets is NdFeB, and they are plated/coated with Ni-Cu-Ni (Nickel) to prevent rusting. With a maximum operating temperature of 176?F (80?C), these magnets are axial/radial in magnetization direction and are shaped like round disks. Neodymium (Nd) is a rare earth metal and part of the Lanthanides series. When combined with Iron (Fe) and Boron (B), it forms the strongest magnets on the market. Often referred to as Neo, Neod or NIB magnets, they have a wide range of applications including acoustic field, electronics, electrical field, machinery and equipment, healthcare, and more. Note that this product is available for shipment from the U.S.A through USPS First Class PKG, so there is no need to wait for shipping from overseas. However, it is not recommended for children under 5 years of age without supervision. Overall, these round disc-shaped magnets are an excellent addition to any project or application requiring strong magnetic performances.
