Up for auction is a two used but in very good condition Norbide Carbide dressing sticks. It took a long time to get these two Norbide sticks the shape they are currently in. But with some grinding wheels profiles this is the shape you have to use to get the contour your looking for. These Norbide sticks Can still be used to keep your grinding wheels free from any material that may be lodged into them but they also have several other features that come in handy. These stones are the only thing that comes close to diamond in hardness. That's why they can be used to turn your grinding stones into any shape you prefer. For example you are working with wool rods made for painting. Because wool absorbs paint and any liquids very good and will even pull liquid into it this makes a great way to paint things. Say you purchased a few 1/4" x 6" long felt round rods and need a V shape grinding stone to make the felt tip the shape your looking for. Then this shaping stick is what you would need to shape your grinding wheel into that shape or any shape you want. And take it from me this little Boron stick will do several grinding wheels before it wears out. This is the dressing stick used to put the contour on Sharpies Permanent Magic Markers, the large V shape on large poster board markers, make-up applicators and many many more items that are used every day by most all of us.
