5lbs. of 100% Organic, Non-GMO Barley seed for Fodder/Sprouting.This seed has excellent viability. I do viability checks on every 50 lbs. Barley fodder is an excellent source of protein and can replace most, if not all of your commercial feed. It, however, will not replace the hay you feed your ruminants (goats, sheep, cattle). While the fodder is an excellent source of protein for ruminants, they also need dry-matter (hay) to be healthy. Small animals such as Rabbits and Poultry also benefit from Barley Fodder. Also included is a percent of fodder to animal weight chart for livestock, poultry, and a few breeds of rabbits. Also included are plans for a small fodder system you can build. This system produces enough fodder to feed a couple chickens or rabbits. The cost for parts is approximately $15. The system is expandable and takes up less then a square foot of space, and can sit right on your kitchen counter top or on a laundry room shelf. For a few years, I have been feeding our collection of goats, llamas, a donkey, poultry, ducks and a few rabbits. I have cut my commercial feed bill in half and completely eliminated it for some of my animals. Since this is feed, I do not accept returns unless arrangements have been made beforehand and the return is for the full unopened 10 lbs. of seed. In case of returns the Buyer will also pay any return shipping charges. If you have any problems I am more then willing to help via our farm email shown on the package. While this seed has excellent viability, I can't guarantee your seed to sprout since there are so many variables I can't control. All I can say is it sprouts for me.
