Items recovered locally and sold AS IS. This auction is for a Lot of 5 Intermec CS40 AlphaNumeric Barcode Scanner Handheld PDA's, Protos for Parts Only #2. These are all in pretty nice shape, and were probably hardly ever used if at all. Just been sitting around here collecting dust. These are all prototype models, so I'm not positive if these can be used as a regular model, but should have all the same type parts in them as the regular production models. These will not have any batteries included. I did find one battery that was powerful enough to power it up, so when each one came up with the INTERMEC screen, the battery was pulled to save power on the only battery I have now to power on test these units. This at least shows you that the screens are all functional. I let the first one stay on for awhile and it went all the way to the main menu. Build dates are typically late 2010, early 2011. These all came up with main menu screens that look like picture1 11 and 12. I tested some earlier versions that had no CN number, and they came up saying they were CN50's, but probably just loaded with CN50 software to test. These units in this auction all came up with the CS40 type main menus. Even if these did not function normally, which they might with/without modification, there are some super nice parts still available for your regular post production CS40's: screens, scanner, case, keypads, stylus, etc. Most of these are all probably never used, or if used, not very much. Might have had tests run on them. All have what looks like the camera on the back. All but one of the units say PROTOTYPE on the back, one might not be a prototype. These are strictly for parts only, but if you can get them to work as regular CS40 units, that is a bonus. Will probably not have any SIMS or cards of any kind in them, but not sure. Have the following CN numbers: CS40AQU1EN000, CS40AQU1EN000, CS40AQU1LP000, CS40AQU1LP000, AND CS40AQU1LP000. Thanks for your time. Seller Notes	“All in pretty nice shape, tested for power on screen. All have stylus installed. No batteries included. Might be dusty. One screen has fine circular marks on screen, probably a test they ran to see how a stylus would mark the screen after so many thousand times.”
