You are considering a Roper Whitney 6' Straight Sheet Metal Brake. This brake is used, but is in good overall condition. The bare metal has some minor surface rust from sitting unused. The body has minor scratches and a coating of dust from the fabrication facility it came from, but is in otherwise good condition. The braking edge is in good overall shape. It does have a few minor dings, but nothing that couldn't be dressed if needed. Brake comes with it's original adjustment wrench, which is not pictured. Mfg. By: Roper Whitney (made in USA) Model: 612 Serial No: 383 1 72 Capacity: 12 GA Mild Steel Width: 6 foot (72") This brake may need some adjustment. We noticed that the right side mechanism that locks the bending edge down is harder to engage than the left side. We are not sure how to adjust this, so we are leaving it as is. The apron swings freely. You are more than welcome to inspect the brake here at our warehouse if you like. Brake is being sold AS IS. SHIPPING: We would prefer to load this item on a open flat bed truck or trailer to ship. However, this item can be shipped LTL if needed. We will need to build a special shipping skid in order to load the machine from the ends if shipping LTL. There will be a $100.00 charge to cover materials for the skid if we ship LTL.
