6 Cayuga Duck fertile hatching eggs I know this listing is long, but if you read nothing else- PLEASE READ THE STORE POLICIES AT THE BOTTOM. By purchasing you acknowledge that you have read and understood and agree to all the information within this listing. If you have any questions, please contact me first. Our birds all free-range during the day and are put away in an enclosed aviary coop during the evening. Chicks are hand-reared. We raise our animals with intention and care for their well-being. They are our pets. We breed for health and docile temperaments in addition to dark aesthetics. These birds are not intended to be show animals- but the chickens do come from show lines and are absolutely gorgeous. The photos barely do them justice. :::STORE POLICIES::: I personally guarantee that no eggs will arrive broken. If any eggs arrive broken, send me a photo or video of the egg within 72 hours of pickup and we will work with you to make it right. Please do not leave bad feedback due to transit delays and handling issues by the USPS, or poor hatch rates during incubation. These are beyond our control. Please read on for further explanation and by purchasing you acknowledge that you have read and understood all the information within this listing and agree to these terms. We want to make sure you are happy with your order and come back for more eggs, so don't hesitate to message us with any questions! SHIPPING: Once the eggs leave our hands, we can not guarantee how they are treated in transit or when they will arrive. We ship only the freshest laid eggs on the following Monday from your purchase using USPS Priority mail 1-3 business days. We do this in an attempt to keep your eggs from sitting in transit over the weekend. We label our boxes with bright labels so USPS knows to handle the eggs with care and not x-ray. We wrap each egg individually and package it snuggly in cartons inside your box to lessen any impacts as much as possible. If you are concerned with poor handling during transit, consider adding Special Fragile Handling Option. Our flock is located in coastal Northern California. Our temperatures here are typically a mild 50-60 degrees all year round. Extreme hot and extreme cold can damage eggs in transit. Air pressure changes in flight can also cause impact hatchability. It is wise to consider weather and distance when choosing when and where to purchase eggs from. EXPRESS SHIPPING: USPS offers Express overnight to 2-day shipping. Contact us for details and a price estimate before purchasing. HOLD FOR PICKUP: I HIGHLY SUGGEST INCLUDING YOUR PHONE NUMBER WITH YOUR ORDER TO HAVE YOUR PACKAGE HELD FOR PICKUP AT YOUR LOCAL POST OFFICE. This is optional but FREE. This lessens time in a hot car during delivery and possible damage from handling/throwing the box over fences, packages being left in the sun, etc. There is no extra cost associated with this. Trust me, you want this. I had a package marked fragile all over and required a signature, yet my mailperson threw it over our fence because our gate was locked and signed for us. Never again. OPTIONAL FRAGILE HANDLING: USPS Special Fragile Handling Option: USPS offers special handling for fragile parcels for an additional $10. Per the USPS website "Special handling provides preferential handling, but not preferential delivery, to the extent practicable in dispatch and transportation. The service does not itself ensure the article against loss or damage." Hatch Success: NO GUARANTEES: NO RETURNS: NO EXCEPTIONS I have a 90% hatch success rate in my incubator with my eggs, but with the many factors concerning shipping, egg handling, and incubating I can not guarantee what your success rate will be. Generally hatching shipped eggs has an incredibly low success rate- many people suggest purchasing double the number of eggs that you want to hatch. I do include at least one extra egg to try to make up for any egg loss in transit- subject to availability. If you have taken the time to read all this, put Lydia in the notes of your order and I'll include double extra eggs.  Sometimes special incubating steps can be taken to increase the success rate of shipped eggs. I have included some guides and tip sheets in my link tree to help folks through hatching shipped eggs successfully. When you buy eggs from me, I am invested in your success. If you need any help or advice on your journey in rearing your feathered companions, feel free to reach out. But please understand even under the best circumstances and with extra care, hatch rates on shipped eggs are still likely to be low.
