6+ French Standard Black Copper Marans Hatching Eggs. Greenfire and Bev Davis bloodlines. I will try to give an extra egg or two depending on my girls. These are one of my favorite chicken breeds. I have a happy pasture raised flock that are fed a healthy diet of high quality feed, fresh fruit, veggies, and seeds. They are a beautiful, sweet tempered bird that lays lovely chocolate colored eggs. My eggs are 4-6 on the Marans color scale. The eggs pictured are my darkest. The eggs you receive will vary in chocolate tones. And some of them may have adorable speckles. Marans eggs will start out dark and lighten before they molt. After their molt they will darken a bit again. I’m having excellent hatch rates! I incubate my eggs regularly to check for fertility. Please know that it is a risk to ship eggs. I will pack them as carefully as I can. But I can’t promise your hatch rate. There are so many factors involved. No returns. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Please send me a message with your phone number if you would like your eggs held at your post office for pick up. I will write it on the package.
