It has been modified to accept bulbs used by the 12 AMP machines, which are substantially cheaper than the bulbs used by the 15 AMP machines. This machines has the following new parts: belt ($ 75) bulb ($ 72) reflector ($ 250) The prices between parenthesis indicates the part price. Thus, the machine has about $ 400 of new parts. BECAUSE WE HAVE CONFIDENCE IN OUR MACHINES, WE HAVE BEEN SELLING THESE MACHINES "WITH WARRANTY" FOR MANY YEARS. We refurbish these machines, so that they are in excellent working condition and also improve their cosmetics. The transparency maker produces very good stencil copies. ABOUT THE REFURBISH WORK: We test that the different mechanical components and electrical system work properly. We replace any part that is not performing properly. We have been selling in eBay for about 20 years and, all of this time, have the same phone number for customers to call. Thus, we are not closing down soon after you buy the equipment. FOR SCREEN PRINTING ARTISTS: The machine has been tested to work properly with screens. ----------- LIMITED WARRANTY This warranty only covers the original thermofax buyer. The warranty commences on the date the thermofax is received by the buyer. Original buyer information and date of purchase should be submitted before warranty repairs are rendered. This warranty covers all defects in workmanship or materials for a period of 6 month. For repair under this warranty, buyer must ship the instrument to us. Buyer is responsible of paying the shipping and insurance of the instrument to us, and the return of the instrument to the buyer. We will repair or replace, at our discretion, any mechanical or electrical part that proves to be defective in normal usage during the warranty period. There will be no charge to the purchaser for parts and labor. Beyond the warranty period, parts and labor will be charged for any repair. This warranty does not cover the normal decay of the instrument produced by its intended usage; decorative trims and paint; damages from improper installation or use; damages during transportation and shipping; defects other than manufacturing and refurbishing; damage from misuse, abuse, accident, alteration, lack of proper care/maintenance or incorrect current or voltage; damages from other than the original intended use; and damage from service by other than ourselves. As they are consumables, the lamp and the belt are not covered by this warranty. This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages. Buyer pays $ 85 for shipping, handling and insurance in the contiguous 48 continental contiguous USA states. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS, PLEASE, REQUEST A SHIPPING QUOTE BEFORE BIDDING.
