As new cap to fit standard 6" well casing. Bought this to replace my existing cap then found out I had X heavy well casing because of our tough rock conditions and location next to a driveway. My odd x heavy casing would not allow this cap to fit so I had to special order a different cap. I ground the inside of the lower metal ring of this cap but never touched the rubber sealing gasket, it will seal perfectly on a standard 6" casing. Complete in box. Get your well sealed to prevent problems such as earwigs from entering your casing and causing contamination. This is appropriate for a well with a weld on adapter below frost line where the water pipe exits, it has a 1" threaded adapter on the side to accept conduit for your well wire and screened vent.Complete cap in it's box, a weld on adapter is NOT included.
