Beautiful and Cool Pumpkin Colored English Orpington Project. I have been working with Diluted Gold Laced English Orpingtons and have run across 2 really cool looking Roosters that I am Breeding Back to Gold Laced and Blue Hens. The Roosters are a product of Incomplete Gold lace and Gold Lace parents. There is no Buff Parentage in these Roosters and the Color Pattern is an amazing, Contrasting, beautiful color of Reddish - Orange. I call them Pumpkin Colored because they look like an Orpington Version of a Pumpkin Hulsey Gamefowl. I do assume that they will be much Variation in the Colors of the Orpingtons hatched but have every reason to believe a certain percentage will Have similar coloring. I just proved Fertility with a dozen plus eggs and all were fertile. I have 2 Rooster with 4 hens, so fertility should be good.
